Douay-Rheims New Testament (txt file)

The Douay-Rheims translation of the New Testament, as a 1.8 MB text file. Download it to your cell phone, PDA, or iPod!

Another file that you'll want to have on your PDA is the Enchiridion of Indulgences. This contains dozens of famous prayers and pious invocations: "Down in adoration falling", "O God, we praise you", "Come Holy Spirit, Creator blest", etc. Plus, saying these prayers can lessen purgatory time for you or a loved one. Sweet!

Select a Latin motto from the Vulgate

Here's an idea: Choose a personal motto by finding a favorite Bible phrase in the Latin Vulgate translation.

For example, I would like to make my motto "with all thy heart", from Matthew 22:37. The corresponding is "ex toto corde tuo". Cool!
