Using AI to Prepare for Confession

 I tried something new for confession prep. Instead of staring at an examination of conscience checklist, I gave Claude this prompt:

“Help me prepare for confession by asking me questions. Cover one section at a time.”

It walked me through each commandment. The interactive format made me actually stop and reflect instead of skimming past bullet points. It’s one thing to read “Have you been patient with others?” on a list. It’s another to be asked directly and have to sit with it.

At the end, it gave me a nice summary of everything I’d identified, ready to bring to the confessional.
