If that very short list interests you, check out the book "How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization" by Thomas E. Woods.
There have been many, many Catholic scientists. Some of the very old Cathedrals were designed as astronomy laboratories, many craters on the moon are named for Jesuits, etc, etc, etc. The very scientific method itself has something to owe to Catholic philosophy and thought.
